Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to get back into working out, and I figured a yoga ball would be a good start, right? I mean, I see them everywhere, and they look kinda fun. So I decided to go for it and get a white one. Why white? I don’t know, it just seemed clean and simple.
First things first, I had to actually go get the thing. I went to one of those big stores, you know, the ones that have everything? Yeah, one of those. I remembered seeing some online at Target and Walmart. Browsing through the fitness aisle, and there they were, a whole bunch of yoga balls, all different colors and sizes. I picked out a white one, it was by this brand I guess Trideer or something, I noticed they had a bunch of them. Paid for it, it was around 24 bucks, which I guess is normal for these things.
Got it home, and of course, it was deflated. So I had to pump it up. Good thing it came with a little pump. It took a bit of work, let me tell you. I was sweating before I even started my actual workout! Finally got it nice and firm.
- Step one: Buy the ball.
- Step two: Pump it up.
- Step three: …actually use it?
Now, I’m no fitness expert, so I had to look up some exercises online. Found some basic stuff, like bouncing on it, doing some stretches, and even some core exercises, I think it’s called pilates or something. It was tougher than it looked! My balance was all over the place, and I almost fell a few times. But hey, it was kind of fun, too.
Workout Time
I started with just sitting on it and bouncing a little. That was easy enough. Then I tried leaning back and doing some crunches. Oof, that was hard. I could really feel it in my abs. I also tried this thing where you lie on your back and put your feet on the ball, and then lift your hips up. That worked my butt and legs, I guess. I did some stretches, like leaning over the ball and stretching my back. That felt pretty good, actually.
I only did it for like, 20 minutes, but I was already feeling it. It’s definitely a good workout, I’ll give it that. I think I’ll try to do it every day, or at least a few times a week. I even saw some people use it as a chair for their desk, maybe I’ll try that, it looks cool. They call it “flexible seating” or something.
Overall, I’d say it was a good purchase. It’s a fun and kinda challenging way to exercise, and it doesn’t take up too much space. Plus, the white color looks nice in my living room. Win-win!
So, yeah, that’s my story about my white yoga ball. It wasn’t some big, life-changing event, but it was a little adventure, and it got me moving, which is what matters. Maybe I’ll even get good at it one day. Who knows?
Anyways I bought this ball and I used it to exercise and felt great! I think I will use it frequently in the future!
