OK, so, period time, right? It’s that time of the month again, and I gotta figure out what to wear. Honestly, comfort is key for me during these days. I just wanna feel good and not restricted by my clothes. I grabbed a bunch of clothes from my closet and tried them on one by one.
First, I went straight for my soft, loose stuff. Think oversized sweaters, you know, the ones that feel like a big hug. I pulled out my favorite one – it’s this super comfy, gray thing. Feels like a cloud, seriously. Paired it with some stretchy yoga pants. They’re not tight, just nice and snug, so they don’t dig into my skin, especially around my belly which can get a bit sensitive, you know?
- Oversized Sweaters: Tried my gray one, felt amazing.
- Yoga Pants: Stretchy and comfortable, no digging.
Then I thought, maybe I should try something a bit more… put together? I had this flowy dress in mind. It’s loose, doesn’t cling to my body, which is perfect. I remembered reading somewhere that dresses and skirts are great for this time of the month. Makes sense, right? No pressure on the tummy. So, I slipped into this light, cotton dress. It’s breezy and feels pretty good. I can move around easily, and it’s not irritating my skin or anything.
- Flowy Dress: Tried a light, cotton one. Breezy and comfortable.
Experimenting with Different Styles
Now, I’m not really a shorts person, especially during my period, but I gave it a shot anyway. I have these loose, linen shorts that are pretty comfy. I put them on with a simple, soft t-shirt. It’s not bad, but I still prefer the dress or the sweater-pants combo. The shorts are okay, but they’re not my top pick for period days.
- Linen Shorts: Tried with a soft t-shirt. It’s okay, not my favorite.
I also tried a pair of wide-leg pants. They’re made of this soft, flowy material. I wore them with a loose-fitting top. This outfit is actually pretty nice. It’s comfortable, but I also feel a bit more dressed up than just wearing a sweater and yoga pants. It’s a good balance, I think.
- Wide-Leg Pants: Tried with a loose top. Comfortable and a bit dressy.
At the end of all this, I realized that what I wear on my period really depends on how I’m feeling each day. Some days, I just want to be in the comfiest clothes possible. Other days, I might want to feel a bit more put together, but still comfortable. I avoid anything tight or restrictive. That’s a big no-no for me during these days. It’s all about finding that sweet spot of feeling good and comfortable in what I’m wearing.
So, after all that, I’ve got a few go-to options now. It took a bit of trial and error, but hey, that’s how you figure things out, right? It’s nice to know what works for me, so I don’t have to stress about clothes during my period. I just pick what feels right for the day and go with it. Simple as that!
