Okay, here is my sharing about using castor oil for my gums:
I read online the other day that castor oil can be good for your gums. I started to look into it because I get sore gums sometimes. My gums got inflamed easily, especially when I ate something hard. What I found was that people say it helps with gum infections and stuff like that. Sounds pretty good. I decided to give it a try.
So, I went and bought some castor oil. They said to get the kind in a glass bottle, not plastic. Don’t know why, but I did it anyway. I poured about a spoonful of the oil, just like it said online. It felt kind of weird and thick.
Then I swished it around in my mouth, trying to get it all over my gums. I did this for about 15 minutes. It was kind of gross, to be honest. The oil is really thick and has a weird taste. But I kept going because I really wanted to see if it would help my gums.
After I spat it out, my mouth felt kind of oily, obviously. I rinsed with water a few times to get rid of the oily feeling. I did this every day for a week. At first, I didn’t notice much difference, but after a few days, my gums started to feel better. They weren’t as sore and didn’t bleed when I brushed my teeth.
Here is what I did exactly:
- Got a bottle of castor oil (the glass bottle kind).
- Poured a spoonful (about 1 tbsp).
- Swished it around in my mouth for 15 minutes.
- Spat it out and rinsed my mouth with water.
- Did this every day for a week.
I’m pretty surprised that it actually worked. My gums feel a lot healthier now. I’m going to keep doing this and see if it keeps working. It’s a pretty easy and cheap way to take care of your gums. I still can not believe it is so effective!
If you have sore gums, you might want to give this a try. It’s definitely worth a shot. Just be prepared for the weird taste and oily feeling. I’d like to hear from you if you have tried this method! Please share your experience below!
