Well now, let me tell ya, sprayin’ perfume, that fancy smelly stuff, it ain’t always a good thing. Sometimes, things go wrong, real wrong. You might get some of that stuff in your eye, and boy, let me tell ya, that ain’t a pretty sight.
So, what happens if you get some perfume in your eye? First off, it’s gonna burn like fire, I tell ya. It’s like when you get chili pepper juice in there, only maybe a bit different smellin’. Your eye, it’ll start waterin’ like crazy, and you might not be able to see so good. Everything gets all blurry, like lookin’ through a foggy window.
Now, don’t go rubbin’ it! I know, it feels like you gotta rub it, but don’t! Rubbin’ makes it worse, see? It spreads that perfume all around, and it scratches up your eye somethin’ fierce. You don’t wanna scratch up your eye, no sirree.
- First thing you gotta do is wash it out. Get yourself to a sink, pronto!
- Turn on the water, gotta be cool water, not hot. Hot water will make it worse, trust me on this.
- Then, you gotta stick your head under that water and keep your eye open, wide open. Let that water wash all that perfume out. Keep doin’ it for a good long while, maybe fifteen minutes or so. Just keep that water flowin’ over your eye.
If you got them contact things in your eyes, get ‘em out. Those things just trap the perfume and make it worse. Wash your hands good first, though. You don’t wanna get dirt in your eye on top of everything else.
Now, after you wash it out, your eye might still feel kinda funny. It might still burn a little, or feel dry and scratchy. That’s normal. You can put a cold cloth on it, like a washcloth dipped in cold water. That helps with the burnin’ and stingin’. Just lay it right over your eye for a bit.
If it still hurts real bad after washin’ it, or if you still can’t see so good, you gotta go see a doctor. Don’t mess around with your eyes, they’re important. The doctor, he’ll know what to do. He might give you some drops to put in, or somethin’ else. Just listen to what he tells ya.
And for goodness sake, be careful with that perfume! Don’t go sprayin’ it willy-nilly. Point it away from your face, and don’t spray it too close. Perfume is nice and all, makes you smell good, but it ain’t worth losin’ your eyesight over. And keep it away from the young’uns! They get into everything and might spray it right in their eyes. Little tykes, always gettin’ into trouble.
Sometimes, things just happen, no matter how careful you are. But if you know what to do when somethin’ goes wrong, like gettin’ perfume in your eye, you’ll be alright. Just remember, wash it out, don’t rub, and if it’s real bad, go see a doctor. That’s the best advice I can give ya.
Now, I ain’t no doctor, just an old woman who’s seen a thing or two. But I know a bit about common sense. And common sense says, keep that perfume away from your eyes! And if you do get some in there, don’t panic, just wash it out like I told ya.
And that’s all I gotta say about that. Be careful out there, and keep them eyes safe!
