Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about… you know… down there. Us women, we got all sorts of stuff goin’ on, and it ain’t always talked about proper-like. I ain’t no doctor, mind you, but I’ve seen a thing or two in my time, and I can tell ya what’s what, in my own way.
Now, they call it a vulva, that outside part. Sounds fancy, don’t it? But it’s just… well, it’s just there. Every woman’s is a bit different, ya know? Some are lighter, some are darker, some are, you know, bigger, some smaller. It’s like noses – they all do the same job, but they don’t all look the same.
They got these pictures, you know, in books and such. Showin’ ya all the bits and pieces. They got names for everything. Them labia, they’re like little flaps of skin. Sometimes they’re tucked in, sometimes they’re hangin’ out a bit. Ain’t nothin’ wrong with either way, far as I can tell.
- And then there’s the… the opening. Where babies come from, and, well, you know… other things happen there too.
- Inside, there’s this thing called a vagina. It’s like a tunnel, kinda. Stretchy, it is. It’s gotta be, for babies and all.
- And they talk about somethin’ called a hymen. Said it’s like a little piece of skin, sorta covers the opening a bit, in young girls who ain’t, you know… been with a man. But lemme tell ya, it ain’t always like that. Some girls are born without it, some have it real thin, some have it thicker. And it can break, ya know, even without… you know. Just from ridin’ a horse, or playin’ around, or whatever. So, it ain’t no big deal, really. Don’t let nobody tell ya different.
They got these old pictures, from way back when. Showin’ ya the difference, they say, between a girl who’s been with a man and one who hasn’t. But honestly, I don’t see much difference myself. Every woman’s body is her own business, and it changes over time, ya know? Havin’ babies, gettin’ older… it all changes things.
Now, some folks, they do things… to their bodies, down there. In some countries, they got these… traditions, they call ’em. But it ain’t right, if you ask me. Cuttin’ and such. It’s a woman’s body, and nobody should be doin’ that to her, ‘specially not when she’s just a little girl. It’s important to know your own body, they say. And I reckon that’s true. You gotta know what’s normal for you, so you can tell if somethin’ ain’t right. And you gotta be comfortable with yourself, down there and everywhere else. Don’t let nobody make ya feel ashamed or embarrassed about how you’re made. We’re all different, and that’s just fine.
Some pictures show real close-up, ya know? Every little detail. And that’s okay, if you wanna look. But don’t go comparin’ yourself to them pictures. You are who you are, and that’s beautiful. And if you’re worried about somethin’, go talk to a doctor. Don’t be shy. They’ve seen it all before, believe me. And remember, being a woman ain’t just about what’s between your legs. It’s about bein’ strong, bein’ kind, bein’ yourself. And that’s somethin’ to be proud of, no matter what.
So, that’s about all I got to say about that. It ain’t fancy talk, but it’s the truth, as I see it. And I hope it helps somebody, somewhere, to feel a little bit better about themselves, just the way they are.
And remember, your body is your own business. Don’t let anyone tell you it’s not perfect just the way it is.
