Okay, so, I saw this Noga Dahi yogurt at the store the other day and thought, “Why not?” I mean, I like yogurt, and this one said “Dahi,” which sounds kinda cool, right?
So I grabbed a cup, the one with whole milk. First thing, I noticed it was pretty thick when I opened it. Not like that super runny stuff, but like, real thick. And the taste? It was pretty good! Kinda tangy, but not too much. It tasted pretty natural, like they didn’t dump a ton of sugar in it or anything.
I looked at the ingredients. They said something about using “Grade A milk” and “special cultures.” It also said they fill the cups hot, which is different. Maybe that’s why it’s so thick? I don’t know, but it’s good!
I checked the nutritional info, just because. It had about 16g of carbs and 12g of protein per cup. Not bad, not bad. Oh, and 3g of fat. It’s whole milk yogurt, so I expected some fat.
- Taste: Good, tangy, not too sweet.
- Texture: Really thick, not runny.
- Ingredients: Grade A milk, special cultures.
- Nutrition: 16g carbs, 12g protein, 3g fat.
The next day, I did some more digging and found out that another company called “ICV Partners” just bought Noga and another brand to form a new company named “Desi Fresh Foods”, which makes South Asian yogurt and lassi, which is kind of like a yogurt drink. I might try that next time. Anyway, I finished the whole cup of the Noga Dahi yogurt. I liked it! I’d probably buy it again.
So yeah, if you see Noga Dahi yogurt, and you like yogurt, give it a try. It’s a good, solid choice.
What I love about Noga Dahi yogurt
- It’s pretty thick and creamy.
- The taste is natural and not too sweet.
- The ingredients are simple.
