Okay, so, I’ve been trying to be healthier lately, you know, the usual stuff. And I read somewhere that drinking water first thing in the morning is like, super good for you. It’s supposed to kickstart your metabolism, flush out toxins, all that jazz. Sounds great, right?
Well, I started doing it, and guess what? Every single morning, I started feeling like I was gonna hurl. Not exactly the refreshing start I was hoping for. I mean, I’d wake up, chug some water, and bam – instant nausea. What’s up with that?
At first, I thought maybe I was just drinking too much water too fast. Like, maybe my stomach was like, “Whoa, slow down there, buddy!” So, I tried drinking slower, taking little sips instead of gulping it down like I was in a desert. Didn’t help. Still felt like crap.
Then, I figured maybe the water was too cold. I usually drink it straight from the fridge, so I thought maybe the coldness was shocking my system or something. I switched to room temperature water. Nope, still nauseous.
- Tried drinking slower
- Tried room temperature water
I even tried different kinds of water. Bottled water, tap water, filtered water – you name it. Nothing made a difference.
My Experimenting Process
One day, I was talking to my friend about it, and she said maybe I should try eating something first. It kind of made sense. I mean, I usually drink water on an empty stomach. So, the next morning, I had a small banana before drinking water. And guess what? No nausea!
I tried it again the next day, same thing. No nausea. It seemed like my body just needed some food in it before I started chugging water.
So I thought maybe I should eat something before drink water, because usually I do it on an empty stomach. I just ate a banana before I drinking water, and guess what happened, I did not feel bad this time. I tried it again next morning, still no nauseous. I think my body just need some food to start with.
And that was it. Just a simple banana and I can enjoy my morning water without feeling sick. So, for anyone else out there who’s struggling with morning water nausea, I suggest giving this a try. It might just be the solution you’re looking for!
