So, I tried this thing called a “Mask Mixture” the other day. I’d heard about it from some friends who are really into skincare, and honestly, I was curious.
I started by gathering some stuff from my kitchen. I grabbed some yogurt, an orange, and a bit of honey. It felt a bit weird, but everyone says natural ingredients are good for your skin, right?
I mixed a teaspoon of plain yogurt with the juice from a quarter of an orange in a small bowl. Then, I scooped some of the orange pulp and added that in too. I stirred it all together. It looked kind of like a breakfast bowl, not gonna lie.
Next, I added a teaspoon of honey to the mix. I had to warm the honey up a bit because it was too thick. After mixing everything, it turned into this sticky, gooey paste.
I washed my face first and then applied this mixture. It was cold and a little slimy. I spread it all over my face, avoiding my eyes, of course. Waiting was the boring part. I just sat there for about 15 minutes, feeling like a human salad.
After waiting, I rinsed it all off with warm water. I have to say, my skin did feel softer and smoother. It was a weird experience. I probably won’t do it all the time, but for a one-time thing, it wasn’t bad. And it was definitely cheaper than those fancy masks they sell at stores.

- Ended up with:
- Smoother skin
- A fun story to tell
Overall, it’s a pretty easy DIY project if you’re bored or just want to try something new. Just be prepared for a bit of a mess and a strange sensation on your face!
DIY Face Mask
I have to say this was an interesting experience. Might not be something I’ll do every day, but definitely worth trying if you’re into natural skincare stuff.
