Okay, so I’ve been trying out this thing called an “intensive hair and scalp LED light therapy hair brush” for a while now, and I gotta say, it’s been quite a journey. I’ve always been a bit self-conscious about my thinning hair, especially around the front. It’s not terrible, but it’s noticeable enough to bug me. I’d heard about these LED light therapy things and figured, why not give it a shot?
I started by doing some research online. It sounded a little too good to be true, but I also read it may help regulate hormones, which can affect hair loss. Then I decided to give it a try.
So, I got myself one of these LED hair brushes. It looks like a regular hairbrush, but it’s got these little red lights embedded in it. The idea is that you use it like a normal brush, but the red light is supposed to do something good for your scalp and hair follicles. There are some research show that it can promote hair growth and increase hair density with consistent use, which is good for me.
My Routine
- First, I started using it every other day. I’d just brush my hair like normal, making sure to spend a little extra time on the areas where my hair is thinnest.
- Then, I read that it works even better when combined with topical hair products, so I started using it along with a hair growth serum I already had. I’ve used this serum on its own before, and it didn’t really do much.
- Next, I kept this up for a few months. I wasn’t expecting any miracles, but I was hopeful.
The Results
Honestly, the first couple of months, I didn’t notice much of a difference. I was starting to think maybe this whole thing was a bust. But I’m not one to give up easily, so I kept at it. I even started using it every day instead of every other day.
It’s been about four months now, and I’m actually starting to see some baby hairs popping up around my hairline! It’s not a huge difference yet, but it’s definitely something. I’m pretty stoked about it.
I’m gonna keep using this brush and see what happens. I’m not expecting to suddenly have a full head of thick hair, but if I can get a little more density, I’ll be happy. It’s been a slow process, but I think it’s finally starting to pay off. If you’re dealing with thinning hair, it might be worth giving one of these LED brushes a try. Just don’t expect overnight results, and be consistent with it!
