Alright, so I’ve been using these exfoliating gloves for a while now, and I gotta say, they’re pretty awesome. But it got me thinking, how long do these things actually last? I mean, I don’t wanna be scrubbing away with some worn-out gloves that aren’t doing the job, right? So, I decided to do a little experiment and keep track of my own usage.
First off, I bought a brand new pair of exfoliating gloves. They were nice and rough, just the way I like ’em. I started using them about 2-3 times a week, mostly on my arms and legs. I like a good scrub, you know? Really get that dead skin off.
I made sure to rinse the gloves thoroughly after each use and let them air dry. No fancy cleaning or anything, just a good rinse and hang them up. I noticed that after about a month, they still felt pretty rough. The texture was definitely there, and they were still doing a good job of exfoliating.
- Month 1: Gloves still going strong, feeling rough and effective.
- Month 2: Started to notice a little bit of wear. They weren’t as rough as when they were new, but still working okay.
- Month 3: Yeah, they were definitely getting smoother. The exfoliating power was reduced, but I could still feel a bit of a scrub.
By the end of the third month, I figured it was time to retire them. They were still somewhat usable, but not like before, you know? They just felt kinda soft, and I wasn’t really getting that satisfying scrub anymore. I didn’t want to damage my skin with worn-out gloves.
So, based on my little experiment, I’d say exfoliating gloves last about 2-3 months with regular use. Of course, it depends on how often you use them and how rough you like your scrub. If you’re using them every day, they might wear out faster. And if you prefer a gentler exfoliation, they might last a bit longer.
I grabbed a new pair and holy moly, the difference was real! The new gloves were so much rougher, and my skin felt amazing after using them. It was like a night-and-day difference. My skin became smooth and more radiant.
Anyway, that’s my experience with exfoliating gloves. Hope it helps someone out there! Just remember to replace them every few months, and your skin will thank you.
