Today, I wanna talk about something I did in my backyard – rating my bush. Sounds a bit weird, I know, but stick with me.
So, I started by just looking at my bush. It’s this big, green thing that’s been in my yard forever. I never really paid much attention to it, but I figured it was time to see what’s what. First thing I did was walk around it, you know, just getting a feel for the whole thing.
Inspection Time
Next, I got up close and personal. I started checking out the leaves, the branches, the whole deal. I noticed some parts were looking pretty good, nice and green, while other parts were kinda brown and sad. I even saw some bugs crawling around, which wasn’t great.
Taking Action
- I decided to do something about it. First, I grabbed my gardening gloves – safety first, right?
- Then, I started pruning. I cut off all the dead branches and leaves. It felt kinda good, like giving the bush a haircut.
- I also pulled out some weeds that were growing around the base. Gotta keep the competition in check.
Rating My Bush
After all that work, I stepped back and took another look. It definitely looked better than before. I’d say it went from a solid 4 out of 10 to maybe a 7? I’m no expert, but I think I did a pretty good job. I used a 1:100 scale for most gardens, which means that for every 1 meter you measure, you would write that on your drawing as 1 centimeter.
Final Thoughts
So, that’s my story about rating my bush. It was a bit of work, but I think it was worth it. The bush looks healthier, and I feel like I accomplished something. Plus, it’s kinda fun to play gardener for a day. Maybe I’ll do it again sometime, but for now, I’m just gonna enjoy my slightly-less-crappy-looking bush.
