Today, I wanna talk about something a bit more personal and, let’s be honest, a little hush-hush in regular conversation – vaginas. More specifically, the whole “innie” versus “outie” thing.
So, I was scrolling through some online forums the other day, and I stumbled upon this discussion about different types of vaginas. I’d heard the terms “innie” and “outie” before, but I never really gave it much thought. I mean, I knew mine was, well, mine, and that was about it.
But, seeing all these people talk about it got me curious. I started to do a little digging. Turns out, an “innie” is when your inner lips, the labia minora, are shorter than your outer lips, the labia majora. And an “outie” is, you guessed it, the opposite.
I pulled out my hand mirror, you know, the one I usually use for makeup, and took a closer look. It was kind of like, “Huh, so that’s what’s going on down there.”
I spent the next hour going down a rabbit hole of articles and diagrams. Apparently, about half of us have outies, and the other half have innies. It’s totally normal either way, which was kind of a relief, not that I was worried or anything.
I even started looking at how mine changed when I, you know, got a little excited. It’s pretty fascinating how our bodies work, isn’t it? Like, one minute everything’s tucked in, and the next it’s like, “Hello, world!”
Anyway, after all this research and, ahem, self-examination, I realized that I probably have an outie. Or at least, that’s what it looked like to me.
The whole experience was kind of eye-opening. I mean, we all have these bodies, but how often do we actually take the time to understand them? It made me feel more connected to myself, in a way. Like, getting to know an old friend a little better.
So, yeah, that’s my story about exploring the world of innies and outies. It might sound a little weird, but it was a fun little journey of self-discovery. And hey, maybe it’ll inspire you to take a closer look at yourself, too. Just remember, whatever you’ve got down there is perfectly normal and perfectly you.
