Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to try out a colouring hair mask for a while now. I saw it trending and thought, why not give it a go? My hair’s been feeling a bit dry and damaged lately, so I figured this might be a good way to add some colour and moisture at the same time.
First things first, I did a bit of research to find a mask that would suit my hair type. Since my hair is on the dry side, I needed something hydrating. And because I love my natural curls, I also wanted something that wouldn’t weigh them down. I ended up choosing the Schwarzkopf Color Mask. I found it by looking through some online stores, and it seemed like a good option. Plus, the price was pretty reasonable.
Next, I had to actually use the thing. I started by washing my hair with my usual shampoo. They say you should always use a hair mask on clean hair, so that’s what I did. I got all the buildup off my hair first.
Once my hair was washed, I applied a generous amount of the hair mask, making sure to coat all of my strands from root to tip. Then came the waiting game. The instructions said to leave it on for about 20 minutes, so I just chilled out, scrolled through my phone, and waited.
- Wash hair with shampoo
- Apply hair mask generously
- Wait for 20 minutes
- Rinse thoroughly
After the time was up, I rinsed the mask out with cool water. I could already feel a difference in my hair – it felt so much softer and smoother. And the colour? It was subtle but definitely noticeable. My hair had a nice, healthy-looking sheen to it, and the colour was just what I was going for. It also seemed to help with the frizziness that I sometimes get.
My thoughts
Overall, I’m pretty happy with how this turned out. It was a super easy process, and I think it made a noticeable difference in the look and feel of my hair. I’d definitely recommend giving it a try if you’re looking for a way to add some colour and moisture to your hair without doing anything too drastic.
