So, I’ve been seeing a lot of buzz about cherry blossom extract in the beauty industry lately. And you know me, I’m always up for trying out new things for my skin, especially if they’re natural. I decided to give it a go, and let me tell you, it’s been quite an experience!
First off, I started by doing some digging around. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t just putting anything on my face. It turns out that cherry blossom extract is supposed to be good for moisturizing and brightening the skin. Sounds good, right?
Next, I went ahead and bought a serum that had cherry blossom extract as a main ingredient. The bottle looked pretty, and the reviews seemed okay. I made sure to check the ingredient list to see if there was anything else that might irritate my skin.
My Routine
- I washed my face with my usual cleanser, you know, to get all the dirt and makeup off.
- Then I patted my face dry with a clean towel. I always use a clean one because I don’t want any bacteria getting on my face.
- Next, I applied a few drops of the cherry blossom serum onto my fingertips and gently massaged it into my skin. I focused on my cheeks, forehead, and chin.
- I waited for a few minutes to let the serum absorb into my skin, don’t rush it, girls!
- Finally, I finished with my regular moisturizer to lock everything in.
I did this routine every morning and night for about two weeks, it was not easy but I persisted. Honestly, at first, I didn’t see much of a difference. But I kept at it, because good things take time, right? After a few days, I started to notice that my skin felt a bit softer and smoother. It’s getting better, isn’t it?
Then, after about a week, I noticed my skin tone looked a bit more even. Like, some of those little red spots I had were starting to fade. I was pretty stoked about that! And my skin definitely had more of a “glow” to it, not oily but dewy. You know what I mean?
Now, it’s been two weeks, and I’m pretty happy with the results. My skin feels hydrated and looks brighter. It’s not a miracle worker, but it’s definitely made a positive difference. I think I’ll keep using it as part of my skincare routine. It’s been a fun experiment, and I’m glad I gave it a try!
