Alright, so I got this weird thing going on lately, and I just gotta share it. I’ve been craving beans like crazy. Yeah, you heard that right, beans! The little guys. It all started about a week ago, I was just walking through the grocery store, and bam, I see these cans of beans, and I just gotta have ’em.
So I grabbed a few cans of different types – kidney beans, black beans, even some chickpeas. I get home, and the first thing I do is open up a can of kidney beans. I just started eating them straight out of the can, cold and all. It was like my body was screaming for them.
Next thing I know, I’m putting beans in everything. Made a big pot of chili, and man, it was the best chili I’ve ever had. Then I started experimenting – bean salads, bean soups, I even tried making some hummus.
- I made a huge batch of hummus.
- Then I used it as a spread on my sandwiches.
- I even added them to my salads.
It’s gotten to the point where I’m eating beans every day. I read somewhere online that beans are packed with protein and fiber. Maybe that’s why I’m craving them? Or maybe it’s the iron. I also found out that they can make you feel full and satisfied, so maybe that’s it.
Seriously, It’s Like My Body Knows
I mean, I’ve always liked beans, but this is different. This is like a deep, primal urge. I even read that craving certain foods could mean you’re deficient in something, but who knows. Could be, could not be. One thing I gotta say, though, too much of these little guys, and, well, let’s just say it can get a bit gassy.
Anyways, I just wanted to share my little bean saga. It’s kind of funny, kind of weird, but hey, at least I’m getting my fiber, right? I’m gonna keep on riding this bean wave and see where it takes me. Maybe I’ll discover some new amazing bean recipe. Who knows!
