Alright, so I saw this thing online about mixing lemon, turmeric, and honey. Sounded interesting, so I gave it a shot. Figured I’d share how it went down.
First, I gathered my stuff. I grabbed a few lemons from the fridge, found some turmeric powder in the spice rack – that stuff stains, by the way, be careful – and scooped out some honey from a jar. I also boiled some water in a kettle, ’cause I figured warm water would be better than cold.
Next, I got to work. I juiced the lemons. I only used two ’cause they were pretty big. Then I added about a teaspoon of turmeric powder to a mug and poured in the hot water. I stirred it around until the turmeric was all mixed in.
- Squeezed the juice out of two lemons.
- Mixed a teaspoon of turmeric with hot water in a mug.
- Added a big spoonful of honey to the mug.
After that, I added a good spoonful of honey to the mug. I like things sweet, so I might’ve gone a bit overboard, but hey, it’s my drink. I gave it another good stir to make sure the honey was all dissolved and stuff.
Finally, I poured in the lemon juice and stirred it all up one last time. It looked kinda like a weird, golden potion. Honestly, I was a bit skeptical at this point, but I took a sip anyway.
And you know what? It wasn’t half bad. It was kinda tangy from the lemon, a bit earthy from the turmeric, and sweet from the honey. It was a weird combination, but it kinda worked. I wouldn’t say it’s my new favorite drink or anything, but it was definitely an experience. If you are bored, you can give it a try I guess.
My Tips
- Use fresh lemon if you can.
- Don’t use too much turmeric, it can be strong.
- Add honey according to your sweet level.
So yeah, that’s how I made lemon, turmeric, and honey drink. It was a fun little experiment, and I’m glad I tried it. Maybe I’ll try some other weird combinations in the future. Who knows?
