Okay, here’s my blog post about my experience with tea tree oil mouth rinse:
So, I’ve been hearing a lot about this tea tree oil thing for a while now. People saying it’s good for all sorts of stuff, especially for your mouth. I was kinda curious, you know? My gums have been a little sensitive lately, nothing major, just a bit of redness here and there. So, I thought, why not give this natural stuff a try?
Getting Started
First things first, I went to the store to get some tea tree oil. I found a small bottle in the health aisle – it was pretty cheap, which was nice. I also made sure to grab some regular mouthwash, the kind I usually use. I figured I’d mix the two together instead of going full-on tea tree oil from the start.
Mixing it Up
I got home and decided to do a little experiment. I poured some of my usual mouthwash into a small cup, just enough for one rinse. Then, I carefully added a couple of drops of the tea tree oil into the cup. It smelled pretty strong, kind of like a medicine cabinet, but not in a bad way. I gave it a good swirl to mix it all up.
The First Rinse
Okay, time for the moment of truth. I took a swig of the mixture and started swishing it around in my mouth. The taste was definitely… different. It wasn’t like my regular minty mouthwash, that’s for sure. It had a bit of a strong, earthy taste. But it wasn’t unbearable. I swished for about 30 seconds, like the bottle said, and then spit it out.
Keeping it Up
I kept doing this tea tree oil rinse every day for about a week. I started with just two drops, then I bumped it up to three after a couple of days. I rinsed after brushing my teeth in the morning and at night.
How it Felt
Honestly, after a few days, I started to notice a little difference. My gums didn’t feel as sensitive anymore. They looked a bit healthier too, less red. I was actually pretty surprised.
What I Think
So, after my little experiment, I think this tea tree oil mouth rinse thing might actually be worth it. It’s a cheap and easy way to maybe improve your oral health. At least, it seemed to work for me. I’m gonna keep using it for a while and see how it goes.
My Routine
Here’s a quick rundown of what I did:
- Bought some tea tree oil and my usual mouthwash.
- Mixed 2-3 drops of tea tree oil with a small amount of mouthwash.
- Swished the mixture in my mouth for 30 seconds.
- Spit it out.
- Repeated this twice a day, morning and night, after brushing.
That’s about it. It was a simple little experiment, but I’m glad I tried it. Maybe you should try it too!
