Alright, so lately I’ve been trying out some new stuff to deal with my acne, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey. I stumbled upon this thing called matcha, yeah, that green tea powder. Apparently, it’s not just for fancy lattes. I found out that it is said to be packed with antioxidants, and those are supposed to be good for fighting off the bad stuff that messes with your skin.
I decided to give it a shot. So I started making myself some matcha drinks.

First step, finding the matcha
I found it at a local store. Got myself a small tin of the stuff. It was a bit pricey, but I figured it was worth a try.

Second step, making the drink
I watched a couple of videos online to figure out how to make it. Basically, you just mix the powder with some hot water and whisk it up until it’s frothy. Then I decided to add some milk and a little bit of honey to make it taste better.
I’ve been drinking this stuff every day for a few weeks now. At first, I didn’t really notice anything different. But then, after a week or so, I started to see some changes.

The results
My skin started looking a bit clearer. The redness seemed to go down a little, and I wasn’t getting as many new breakouts. It wasn’t like a miracle cure or anything, but it was definitely an improvement.
I also noticed that my skin felt a bit smoother and softer. I read somewhere that matcha can help with skin texture and elasticity, so maybe that’s what was happening. I don’t know, I’m not a scientist or anything, but it seemed to be working.
I kept at it, drinking my matcha every day. And the results kept getting better. My skin continued to improve, and I felt like I had a bit more of a glow. It wasn’t perfect, but it was definitely better than before.
Now, I’m not saying that matcha is going to solve all your acne problems. It’s not some kind of magic potion. But, based on my experience, it seems to help. It is packed with those antioxidant things and those are supposed to fight the bad stuff in your skin.
So, if you’re struggling with acne and looking for something new to try, maybe give matcha a shot. It might work for you, it might not. But it’s definitely worth a try, in my opinion. Just remember to be patient and consistent, and hopefully, you’ll see some results like I did.
Disclaimer: I am not a doctor or a dermatologist, this is just my personal experience. If you have serious acne problems, you should probably go see a professional. But for mild to moderate acne, matcha might be worth a try. Cheers.
