Okay, here’s my story about how I got my groove back down there after having a baby:
So, picture this: I just had my little bundle of joy, and everything was amazing… except for one thing. Things weren’t quite the same in the lady parts department, you know? I felt a bit looser than before, and it was messing with my confidence. I wanted to feel like myself again, both for me and my partner. I did a little digging online and heard about something called a “cervical cerclage.” It sounded a bit intense, so I figured I’d start with something a little less drastic.
I remembered reading something about pelvic floor exercises. It was all about squeezing and drawing in muscles down there. So I made it a daily routine. Every time I was just chilling, watching TV, or even just waiting in line, I’d do my little squeezes.
My Simple Routine
- Squeeze and hold: I started by squeezing the muscles like I was trying to stop myself from peeing. I’d hold it for a few seconds, then relax.
- Repeat: I did this about 10-15 times in a row.
- Sets: I aimed for 3 sets a day, but some days I’d do more if I was feeling ambitious.
Honestly, it was a bit awkward at first. I wasn’t even sure if I was doing it right. But I kept at it. I figured, even if it didn’t totally fix things, it couldn’t hurt, right? Plus, I heard it could help with bladder issues, which is always a bonus.
I also tried to be a bit more mindful of what was going on down there. After giving birth, everything felt a bit sore and tender. I found that using a bit of coconut oil really helped with the dryness and made things more comfortable.
Slowly but surely, I started to notice a difference. It wasn’t like flipping a switch, but things gradually felt tighter and more like they used to. It was a huge relief, let me tell you. I started feeling more like myself again, and my confidence got a major boost.
So, yeah, that’s my story. It wasn’t some crazy, complicated procedure or anything. Just some simple exercises and a bit of self-care. And it made all the difference for me.
