Alright, listen up, girls. Let’s talk about somethin’ kinda personal, somethin’ that happens down there, you know? Sometimes, it feels like that…thing…that tampon, yeah, that’s the word, feels like it’s slippin’ and slidin’ outta place. And let me tell ya, it ain’t a good feelin’, not one bit.
Why does that darn thing feel like it’s fallin’ out? Well, first off, could be you just got the wrong size. You know, like shoes, they gotta fit right, or you’ll be trippin’ all over the place. Same with them tampons. Too small, and it ain’t gonna do its job right. Too big, and, well, it just ain’t gonna be comfortable, that’s for sure. If it’s the wrong size, it fills up too quick and then it starts saggin’ and feelin’ loose. When you put it in right, it should stay put, no slippin’ or slidin’. But when it gets full of blood, or even if it ain’t full, sometimes it just feels like it’s gonna come right out.
- Wrong size: Like I said, get the right size. Don’t be shy, go for what feels right, not what you think you should use.
- Put it in right: Now, I ain’t gonna get into the details, but you gotta make sure that thing’s in there good and snug. Follow the instructions on the box, they ain’t there for nothin’.
Sometimes, though, it ain’t just about the tampon. Sometimes, somethin’ else is goin’ on down there. I heard tell of somethin’ called POP. Don’t ask me what it stands for, but it makes you feel all full and heavy down there, like somethin’s pressin’ down. And yeah, it can make it feel like that tampon’s fallin’ out even when it ain’t. You might feel like you’re sittin’ on a lump, or like there’s somethin’ stuck up there, even when there ain’t. It’s like your insides are pushin’ against the walls of your…well, you know…down there.
Other times, it could be somethin’ simple, like bein’ too dry down there. Or maybe somethin’s swollen up, or you got a little bump or somethin’. If it hurts to put that thing in, or if you start feelin’ dizzy or get a fever, then you need to go see a doctor, girl. Don’t mess around with that stuff.
And then there’s that little string. You know, the one hangin’ down there? Sometimes, that little fella can be a bother. It can rub and tickle and make you feel like somethin’s not right. But it’s gotta be there, so you can get that thing out, you know? So, you just gotta get used to it, I guess.
Now, I ain’t no doctor, mind you, just a woman who’s been around the block a few times. But I know when somethin’ ain’t right down there. If that tampon keeps slippin’ and slidin’, and it don’t feel right, then you gotta figure out why. Try a different size, make sure you’re puttin’ it in right, and if it still ain’t right, then go see a doctor. Don’t be embarrassed, they’ve seen it all before. And it’s better to be safe than sorry, that’s what I always say.
And one more thing, if it keeps slippin’ out even before it’s full, you definitely ain’t puttin’ it in right, girl. Follow them instructions, they ain’t that hard. And if you still can’t figure it out, ask someone. Your mama, your sister, your friend, even the doctor. Just don’t go around feelin’ uncomfortable and worried all the time. Life’s too short for that, I tell ya.
So, there you have it. A few reasons why that darn thing might feel like it’s slippin’ out. Just remember, listen to your body, and don’t be afraid to ask for help if you need it. And for goodness sake, get the right size tampon!
